Monroe County Finally Getting 911 Service

It seems that Monroe County has finally passed a tax levy to bring 911 service to the entire county. Right now only the western side of the county is covered.

I’m really surprised this passed, it’s very easy for people to discount the value of such a service until they’re in a situation where they need it.
