Everyone will have their strong areas and their weak areas. That's why they have their cabinet. Like the article says, Barack is a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. I also noticed on NBC Nightly News the other night that he's been working with the Department of State to help resolve the situation in Kenya (because of his ties to the country).
