The Center for Progressive Leadership is looking to hire people in Ohio for this years New Leaders Fellowship Program. More details after the break.

Applications are due by May1st.

Are you interested in getting a full-time, paid position at a leading progressive organization in Ohio?

The New Leaders Program at the Center for Progressive Leadership is working to change the face of tomorrow’s political leadership by connecting 21-30 year old people of color, LGBT youth, and women to paid positions with progressive organizations. Applications are being accepted through May 1 for the 2008 New Leaders Fellowship Program in Ohio.

The 2008 New Leaders Fellowship Program runs from June to November, and includes:

  • Paid Position at a Leading Progressive Organization
  • Leadership Trainings and Workshops
  • Networking Events
  • Mentoring and Career Coaching

Leading progressive organizations that have hosted CPL New Leaders in the past include the Alliance for Justice, Campaign for America’s Future, Center for American Progress, Choice USA, Food and Water Watch, Human Rights Campaign, Progressive Majority, Service Employees International Union, Sierra Club, and many more. This will be the first year running the program in Ohio, so we’re working on finalizing the partner organizations now.
